This policy explains what personal information 3DPrintMarket collects, why, and what we do with it.

3DPrintMarket (the3dprintmarket.co.uk) is operated by 3DFLO Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company no. 16729640), registered office: Unit 12 Tower Court, St Davids Road, Enterprise Park, Swansea SA6 8RU. 3DFLO Ltd is the data controller for personal information collected through this website.

What we collect
When you create an account: your name, email address and password.
When you buy: your delivery address, phone number (if given), order details and messages with sellers. Card details are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
When you sell: your shop name, profile details, listings, bank details for payouts, and the information we’re legally required to collect for HMRC reporting (such as your full name, address, date of birth and, if you have one, National Insurance number or Unique Taxpayer Reference).
When you contact us: your name, email address and message.
Automatically: basic technical information such as your IP address and browser type, and essential cookies that keep your basket and login working. See our Cookie Policy for details.
Why we use it
- To run the marketplace and fulfil orders (to perform our contract with you): creating your account, processing payments, passing order details to sellers, paying sellers, and handling problems and refunds.
- To meet legal obligations: keeping financial records, and reporting sellers’ sales to HMRC under the UK’s reporting rules for digital platforms.
- For our legitimate interests: keeping the site secure, preventing fraud, enforcing our Seller rules, and responding to reports about listings.
- With your consent: sending you marketing emails, such as launch news. You can unsubscribe at any time.
Who we share it with
- Sellers: when you buy, the seller receives your name, delivery address and order details so they can post your item. Sellers may only use this to fulfil your order.
- Buyers: when you sell, buyers see your shop name, location (town) and reviews.
- Stripe: processes all payments.
- Kualo: hosts our website and email in the UK.
- HMRC: we report sellers’ sales as required by law.
- Others where required: for example, the police or a court if legally required, or a rights holder with a valid claim about a listing.
We never sell your personal information.
Some of these providers, like Stripe, may process data outside the UK. Where they do, they use legal safeguards approved under UK data protection law.
How long we keep it
We keep account information while your account is open. We keep order and financial records for 6 years after the order, as required for tax purposes. Contact messages are kept for up to 2 years. If you close your account, we delete or anonymise your information unless we need to keep it for these legal reasons.
Your rights
You have the right to access your information, correct it, ask us to delete it, object to or restrict how we use it, and ask for a copy to take elsewhere. To make a request, email hello@the3dprintmarket.co.uk. We’ll respond within one month.
If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk). We’d appreciate the chance to sort it out with you first.
Age
You must be 18 or over to create an account on 3DPrintMarket.
Keeping it safe
We use secure connections (HTTPS) across the site, and payments are handled by Stripe. Access to personal information is limited to what’s needed to run the marketplace.
Changes
We may update this policy. If we make significant changes, we’ll let account holders know by email.
